Carolyn Grenville has been PIAC’s Training Co-ordinator since 2002. Carolyn is responsible for delivering PIAC’s public training calendar, presenting customised training, consulting with other PIAC staff about training, and maintaining PIAC’s status as an RTO.

During her time at PIAC Carolyn has partnered with The Cancer Council of NSW to run cancer consumer advocacy training workshops. Carolyn is a member of the Cancer Council’s Central and Southern Regional Advisory Committee.

From 2002 – 2005 Carolyn worked with the National Network of Indigenous Womens’ Legal Services to present the ‘Our Strong Women’ program of leadership and advocacy training in regions all around Australia. 

Carolyn has many years of experience working in the community, disability, government and tertiary sectors. Most recently she worked at the Independent Commission Against Corruption, and previously as staff training coordinator for Australian Catholic University. Carolyn also worked for six years as training coordinator at Redfern Legal Centre Publishing. 

Carolyn also had many years experience as a community worker and advocate in the area of community involvement in the education system. 

Carolyn has the degrees of Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Education from the University of NSW. She also holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
