Anastasia has worked in the legal aid and community sector since 2004.  Most of her experience has been in the Northern Territory where she worked as a solicitor for the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission and for the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in Katherine, Darwin, Nhulunbuy and Groote Eylandt.  She has worked in the areas of criminal law, family law, domestic violence prevention, and civil law.  Most recently she was the Senior Industrial Liason Officer at the NT Working Women’s Centre. Anastasia has a
particular interest in restorative justice and
indigenous issues.
