Abstract

A research report that considers the impact of disconnections of utilities through exploring: how disconnections affect household quality of life, how households cope with disconnection and what people do in order to get reconnected. The findings are considered in the context of how regularly households are disconnected, the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of households that are disconnected, the circumstances that lead to disconnection and how long households are disconnected for.
