Abstract
The South Australian Legislative Council is currently considering the Stolen Generations Reparations Tribunal Bill 2010. In its submission, PIAC commends the use of the draft bill contained in the PIAC report Restoring Identity (2002,2009) as a model for this South Australian bill, and submitted a number of other recommendations about the functions and powers of the proposed Reparations Tribunal, relating to membership, evidence and publicly available written records.
