Abstract

Recognising that the Hunter Water Operating Licence is the key regulatory framework governing the relationship between Hunter Water and its customers, the systematic review and evaluation of its performance is imperative to ensuring any new Licence terms provide consistent and improved protection for consumers. PIAC has prepared this submission to the review to ensure any proposed amendments aimed at improving Hunter Water’s operational efficiency do so while maintaining best practice standards for consumer protection.
