Abstract

EnergyAustralia have applied to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) for permission to pass through the administration and implementation costs arising from the NSW Solar Bonus Scheme.  PIAC has asked the AER to consider whether costs of installing meters and providing safety inspections to enable customers to join the Solar Bonus Scheme should be levied at the customers who are gaining a financial benefit from the Scheme-rather than being smeared across a broader consumer base.
