PIAC’s submission to the Australia 2020 Summit focused on:

• how changes in water and energy markets will impact on low-income households
• the need to focus on Indigenous health and justice
• the introduction of a national Charter of Rights for Patients
• homelessness
• reform to freedom of information laws
• fair trade
• the role of the third (community) sector in effective government processes
• federal protection of human rights consistent with Australia’sinternational obligations.
