Submission writing workshop

The Public Interest Advocacy Centre invites you to attend a workshop at its Sydney office to discuss the current parliamentary inquiry into reparations for the Stolen Generations.

The parliamentary committee conducting the inquiry will be making recommendations to Parliament as to whether a reparations scheme to compensate members of the Stolen Generations should be set up in NSW and what that scheme should consist of.

This informal workshop will cover the terms of reference for the inquiry and the submission writing process. It is intended to assist those who are writing a submission for their organisation, and/or individuals who are a member of the Stolen Generations who wish to tell the committee their story and what they expect a reparations scheme to look like.

Date: Friday, 11 September 2015

Time: 10:30 to 12:30

Location: Public Interest Advocacy Centre, Level 5, 175 Liverpool Street, Sydney Morning tea will be provided.

Please RSVP to Sarah Bassiuoni at [email protected] or 02 8898 6539 by Monday, 7 September.
