Social Justice Dinner 2015 – sold out!

PIAC’s 2015 Social Justice Dinner will take place on Friday 20 February at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The evening will be hosted by The Chaser’s Craig Reucassel and Chas Licciardello, celebrating the contribution of PIAC and our partners to social justice in Australia, as well as raising much-needed funds to support our legal, policy and advocacy work for disadvantaged people.

Guests will be inspired by human rights campaigner Graeme Innes AM, who was until recently the Australian Disability Discrimination Commissioner. PIAC also represented Graeme in his case to make Sydney Trains accessible for people who are blind or have a vision impairment.

This event is crucial to ensuring PIAC continues to protect the basic rights of society’s most vulnerable people – especially people who are homeless, people who have suffered discrimination on the basis of their disability, and victims of war crimes.

Information about silent and live auctions, including details of a range of exciting and unexpected prizes, is now available online.

While the auction will be open until the Social Justice
Dinner on Friday 20 February (which is now sold out), you can make a bid on our
auction, even if you’re not coming to the dinner.

A hearty thank you to all who have supported us so far!
