PIAC does not accept legal enquiries by e-mail, correspondence or facsimile other than in exceptional circumstances.

In NSW the best place to call for legal help is Law Access NSW. They can refer you to other legal services including PIAC if your enquiry fits our criteria.

People who contact PIAC seeking legal assistance will be directed to speak to our Placements. Placements will take instructions and, after consultation with the Senior Solicitor, will provide legal information and/or referrals.

As there are only two Placement students at PIAC who are answering telephone enquiries, and one General Solicitor and one Senior Solicitor available for consultation, we will endeavour to deal with your enquiry as rapidly as we can.
