Donations to PIAC of $2 and over are tax deductible.

PIAC established the Public Justice Project in 1997 to receive tax deductible donations from organisations and individuals wanting to support PIAC’s work. The objectives of the project are to fund public interest litigation where legal aid is not available; to support young lawyers to undertake public interest work at PIAC; and to support PIAC’s strategic action on public interest issues.

Generous support from individuals, foundations, law firms and others is vital for PIAC’s ongoing success. Your contribution helps PIAC address emerging public interest issues, communicate the results of its work, and translate research into action.

Private philanthropy also helps PIAC make important investments in staff and infrastructure to keep PIAC a high-performing, innovative non-profit organisation.
